    Resolution settings

Is there any way to change the resolution settings out side of the game?

I attempted to increase the resolution only to find out that it is out of range of my monitor and everytime i launch the game..i hear audio but i cannot see anything obviously.

control alt delete works and i can shut down BF2 from there and everything else works fine in windows.

    Help.

create a shortcut and then right clikc -> properties and in the target box change it to:
    "C:\Program Files\EA Games\Battlefield 2\BF2.exe" +menu 1 +fullscreen 1 +szx 1280 +szy 1024" (the 1280 x 1024 is a resolution..change it)

If you want to change it back without using the shortcut, here are the two other options:

      1)
Go into ..\My Documents\Battlefield 2\Profiles\000X where X=1,2,3... depending on how many profiles. Open profile.con, to make sure you are in the right 000x folder, then edit your video.con file e.g. set it to this:

VideoSettings.setResolution 800x600@60Hz which is a setting most displays shoul be able to use.

      2)

Or alternatively delete the folders inside: ..\My Documents\Battlefield 2\Profiles\ and use the retrieve option in manage accounts to get your login back but with default bf2 settings.
