Depends on the account you have with PayPal. I have one that gave me a Debt card that pulls from my account. It's the same thing as a Debt/credit card. Also paypal will let you buy things with a virtual credit card. Places like amazon will accept this as a normal credit card.

Only time I had a issue is when the online store asked for the security number on the back of the credit card where you sign.

This is a perfect example of why the downloader is a bad idea. Imagine all the people that have all the game up to this point that WON"T be able to get EF because of the inability to get a credit/debit card to purchase it with. Or even those that refuse to make purchases via the internet. How much money do you think they will be losing by not offering the xpack on cd?

Actually I am psyched about this being DL only. Think of all the 16 year old and younger asshelmets we won't have to deal with (unless mummy uses her card). I hope that Euro is a child free zone.

Why does everyone seem to have the opinion that teens are just ignorant and stupod noobs who play to p*** people off, sure there are a many teen asshelmets (lol nice phrase) but not everyone is, i am 16 and to my knowledge not an asshelmet :)

And yeah i will have to use my mums card because i haven't got one yet

From the readme file from the 1.2 patch:

To install Battlefield 2: Euro Force you will need approximately 800Mb free hard
disk space plus space for saved games.

So its 800MB at the largest, not sure about the install overhead, it could be half the size i guess. For reference you get 400MB per hour for every 1mbit of connection speed, so you can work out the worst case scenerio time to download it

AJ, As I have palyed with you and many other SIR members I realize that not all teans are asshelmets when on servers. I have noticed they for the most part, are the ones cursing on Teamspeak, TK-revenging, and kamakazing with the old ATV. I am sorry if this sounds like a generalization.

How can you pay?.. i have debit card and a switch card but no credit card..
is direct debit an option or will i miss out on euro pack

Debit cards work for ALL internet purchases, afaik. As long as you've got the money. :p

I heard that they will sell like a Euro Force card in stores, so you buy theat you get a certain code with it, then go online type in that code and you get your euro force

Thats not true at all, debit cards are a very European thing, and correct me if im wrong but its the UK that they are most popular? They work on EA downloads as they have seperate sites for each territory.

Take HL2 for example, steam and valve being an American company meant it was Visa and Mastercard only thats why it sold so few copy online and the majority of players have the shop bought version.

BTW its 330 MB i have found out now, its twice the size you need to allow for the install, because of the downloaded file + install directory +temp files during installation.
