Stacked teams? what? theyr even, its 32 against 32, what are you talking about? look at the ranks people. On nearly every server i play on it happens. you cant do anything about it, except hope to God your on the good team or else at the end of the round your going to feel like you just woke up on Broke Back Mountain with your pants missing.... Every server has its regulars, whether they are in a clan or not you'll likely find the same people in there every night. And eventually you will notice a pattern too. They all have extremely high ranks. first sergeants, lieutenents and colonels etc. And for some dam reason theyr all on the same team... while you are the highest ranking on your own team as a gunnery sgt, hmmmm. Its a recipe for pwnage. My point is this noobers, dont get ****ed. Learn from the experience. One thing I love hearing in chat is "I shot Cpt.Dynamo with 5 rockets and he's still didnt die! he's hacking i swear hes hacking! ADMIN! ADMIN!" what Mr Noobster fails to realize is that CptDynamo is an engineer, and so is his whole squad. As long as they stick close together they will continuosly repair each other's vehicles and remain almost unkillable. Yes, i agree this is a bunch of unrealistic crap but... oh wait, i do it too. Anyway try throwing 5 blocks of C4 on a buggy and plowing into the middle of them, if you make it through the hail of tank fire you might be pleasently surprized with the suicidal results. The soap box is closed. Goodnight.

If your playing 700 hours and not getting any points it may be time to find a differant game, lol.Originally posted by poisonsoulRank is not based on time it's based on points.
You can have 9,000 hours, but if you never capped a flag or killed a person you'd still be a private.Comment

Re: Nooblets corner 2.... revenge of the team stackers
You are right about the stacked team servers. I usually surf my server list and run across these about every other one (I do this because Im trying to increase my skill and need to face as many different playing styles as possible). I have also ran across servers that have slots occupied by players who arent there (they have zero kills and zero deaths also they are on the server for the whole game). I keep a list of the bad servers and try not to visit them more than once. Keeping a note book on BF2 isnt a bad Idea IMO. . . . .RedComment

Re: Nooblets corner 2.... revenge of the team stackers
Oh, I've ran into a similar problem of playing on a server where a massive contingent of BF2 'veterans and elites' seem to be playing on the 1 team and collaborating very very well. Sometimes they could even be a 'Clan Newb Harvest Fest'. I avoid those servers at best, they're horrible to play on- simply because your team is bloody sh1te (bunch of random unorganized noobs) and you're playing against a team who have a plan to turn you into a points-vending machine.Originally posted by ScarzStacked teams? what? theyr even, its 32 against 32, what are you talking about? look at the ranks people. Do a bit of a look-around for better servers, some are actually decent servers where this doesn't happen as much.Comment

Re: Nooblets corner 2.... revenge of the team stackers
Yeah i run into that myself sometimes though its worth sticking in there and trying to do something as one or two good players can change the way the game will go. Last night i was playing sharaqu peninsular the teams were stacked 14 to 18 . Over half my team was complete noobs vs high ranking vets and we got totally hammered the first round we lost all the flags and still had 100+ tickets. Second round though it was a different story me and a mate of mine went all out defence on the TV station and we battled like lions even though half the sodding MEC team was trying to get the TV station at times.Originally posted by Six.Oh, I've ran into a similar problem of playing on a server where a massive contingent of BF2 'veterans and elites' seem to be playing on the 1 team and collaborating very very well. Basically the MEC had serious teamwork going on the tactic they had was to get 2 squad leaders in the Havok and fly over to the TV station (they probably used this on the other flags aswel). They would then TV missile the cobra as soon as it spawned then the gunner would bail (hes a squad leader remember) . As soon as the gunner bailed someone would spawn straight away and take his place. So basically we were getting raped by the Havok and had a full squad attacking us at the same time (Brilliant tactic IMO a perfect example of teamwork) . Anyway me and my mate (Richard Cranium lol d i c k head) just stuck in there and defend like hell most of the time we were on are own occasionally we had backup . We even lost all flags and had the TV station at neutral at one point but managed to take it back between us . End result we won the round by 3 tickets .
Now this post is just to show that everything can be stacked against you and you can still win the round (you might not get great scores lol). It bloody hard work and frustrating as hell but if you can get at least 1 like minded person like you on a server WITH A PLAN you can make a huge difference in the out come of the round .Comment

Re: Nooblets corner 2.... revenge of the team stackers
to the original poster
yes it IS a problem
and I wish there was an answer for you
sometimes we get up to 10 clan mates
usually at least 5
and those five regulars are all above 2nd lt
(well 2 2nd lt, 1 to make captain this week and 2 just made major)
and we are all on same team every day
and then we tend to own all maps
maybe lose once in 20 or so.
then sometimes a few guys from another clan come in
and if they are lucky enough to make it to our team
and they probably have voice also
well, we then win maps typically 200 to 0
it is almost impossible to 'change teams' in our server
(our settings do not allow you to choose your team
autobalance controls it)
and if you join a squad you rerely get swtiched
anyway
I feel your pain (not being sarcastic)
and can only suggest - if it is too bad
change servers
good luck and happy huntingComment
