strange graphical glitches, patch 1.2 ??

Anyone seen this before ?
never had this before patch 1.2 , now suddenly some wierd glitches, it started with some minor glitches here and there, then after some time it was anywhere , must say after restarting game, they where gone .

Maybe its the graphics card? Otherwise, that is some trippy stuff.

I think I saw that once before, about 50 minutes after dropping a couple of hits of acid and drinking half a fifth of lambrusco. Best I remember it made all the wemen bear a strange resemblence to a naked Bozo the clown.
Seriously though I doubt its your video card because those are screen captures and that comes from code before your video card gets it, I think. However, If your video card gets to warm you will get some strange anomallys also. . . . .Bozos Daddy. . . .I mean. . .Er. . . Red

Might be heat related? Dunno, happens to me, 'cept I get it in black and spikey-ness. Also... I envy your graphics.... =P

This is usually heat damage or a bad driver install.

it's certainly not heat , I closed down battlefield and checked the temp instantly, it was 48 degrees .

driver ? hmm, it worked fine all the time, and when restarting the game it worked fine again,

What was 48 degrees? the GPu?, the CPU? the chipset?

What driver are you using anyway?

My videocard was 48 degrees , CPU was about 34-35 degrees, chipset hasn't got temp sensor in it, but case temp was 31 degrees .

I am using driver 81.85 , it's not the newest driver, but it worked fine all this time, also shouldn't know why update the driver because there where no changes in the next drivers in my advantage , however, when I would get this again and frequently, I will try another driver

Wow, the last time I've seen something like that, was when I broke DOD.

OK, so after some time, I got about the same problem ,

installed newer drivers, problem seems to be solved, but I will see for how long
