Road Kills with...Ground Defense?

a road kill is like running someone over with a jeep or tank. how exactly do you get ground defense road kills when the ground defense items are mounted on the ground/walls?

I really have no idea but the only suggestion I can throw up is maybe firing a TOW at someone and then hopping out?

Does the TOW unit explode when you destroy it? Enough to kill a nearby damaged player?

yeah the tow and stinger blow up....but i don't think the explosion is big enough to kill someone nearby, and if it was it was probably due to what made it explode in the first place.

I think Road kills, is when you shoot a TOW for instance, at a tank. It doesn't blow, but the person gets out just as it blows, and says BBB [killed] you, not with specific weapon.

I beielive it could also refer to a kill you got while in a tank, but was credited in the game as a FAV kill for instance.

I thought it was when you shot a poor person with a TOW missile in the chest, as opposed to hitting and blowing up their vehicle.

Its when something other than your weapon caused the kill. You hit the vee, its about to explode, dude jumps out and it blows up killing him and sometimes other people around it, thats a road kill. You can also tk that way, really sux, you kill a tank or apc for the team ,it blows up and kills fiendlies, instant tks.

this has happened to me too i have a road kill in ground defense and i have no idea how. i like the idea that its you blew up an enemy MG,TOW,AA and the resulting explosion killed them.

This is probably the correct answer to your question, but yeah, the whole "road kill" idea is odd imho.

you can also get road kills in the TOW if someone rams your TOW and you get the kills.

If you fire a tow, and it blows up a vehicle, if that vehicle's explosion causes any nearby deaths, then you will get a Road Kill for it.

It's the same thing with Helicopters and Jets.

Road kills are when you get an indirect kill for example you shoot a vodnik with a tow but it does not blow up imediatly but catches onf ire and the guy bails out. If the vodnik blows up and kills him whilst hes trying to run away you get the kill and its counted as road kill.

The definition of a road kills is killing something with splash damage from a vehicle, say if you blow up a chopper on the ground and 3 people are standing next to it. You get 3 road kills. As far as ground defense goes, I think it's if you get vehicle splash after firing a TOW. I could be wrong though
