Leaving the tank to go revive someone or for almost any reason in general is just asking for trouble. Chances are some hostile is watching around a corner and will grab your tank and kill you, your squad and half your team with it.

I don't really mind about getting TK'ed for jets - if they want it that bad, have it and get shot down for all I care. But what really ****es me off is when you're on the carriers and all one person takes the last black hawk and just flys off without anyone in it. I quite happily get on the essex and shot him till he comes back if anyone does that to me.

An amazing thing happened last night on several different servers that I was on. Perhaps the moon was aligned just right or perhaps people don't feel like getting shot out of the air anymore because they have no clue how to fly. Whatever the reason, I was able to walk right up to waiting jets, get in, and take off without anyone trying to kill me or diving under my wheels as I taxi'd down the runway.
It was a nice change. I'm not an ace pilot, but I do ok and it's nice to be able to get more seat time in while not having to worry about being shot or blown up because I looked at the jet.
