I never used to use mobile antiaircraft artillery (also referred to as triple A), but with the patch I find myself using the hell out of it. I was so frustrated with the dominance of jets and I all but gave up playing on most maps, but now I relish exacting revenge on my airborne foes - AND HOW SWEET IT IS!

Man, the first time I took out a jet with my linebacker I was in heaven. Now all I want to do is park in secluded places on the map and blow the hell out of jets. Granted, I still fail more than I succeed, but the thrill of taking one down once in awhile is totally worth it. This is the way it should have been from the beginning.

Just wait until the TKs start rolling in. The more missles you have the more likely they are to swurve off and take down your friendly pilots :) Enjoy!

Yeah, that is the downside, but I try to be careful about my missile locks and so far have only downed one friendly.

The bottom line for me is to just let my team mates go after the planes or choppers with theirs if they so desire. Some guys wanna dogfight, so just let them. The only real time I get involved is if I can pick one off solo and maybe I'll try and lock on and get a kill to attempt to 'save' a team mate who is being chased down. If he's gonna be shot down anyways, then take the chance and save his ass......

I've already been team killed for the mobile AA, i don't really blame them either it's a great tool now. I got my air defense ribbon and badge a few days ago using the mobile AA on air targets (not infantry or using arty for kills), i was on darqing oilfields (which has gone from my most hated map to one of my favourites since the patch) i stole the mobile AA from the closest cappable to the chinese airfield and i just went into the valleys and was able to shoot down jets as they went to reload/repair, ended up with gold from the round only using the mobile AA.

actually i havent really played on any map that has mAAA yet. played a little of daqing. but i found the best spot. to do it. drive up the tracks on the left side of the mec base. and sit out of sight of the airfield. but right where any reequiping or taking off plane flies over. Then pow you blow them out of the sky. and ofcoarse u should get a supply crate put there.

LOVE the AAA
I have increased my Air to Ground kills ratio alot
now that I have more target boxes lighting up all over
I am not that good in the jets yet
and I do get shot done a bit mor often now
5-10 per game vs 2 -5 b4 patch
but my kills have gonwe way up as well
used to get about 5 kills per game
1 jet and 4 ground tgts
now avg about 10+ in the air
and 20 on the ground
so - yes harder - but doing better
