Spawn camping ? I was sniping and it isn't a main base, just giving my team the cover for getting to that flag.

about the grass, look ath this thread, http://www.totalbf2.com/forums/showthread.php?t=57846 in that round I started to get wierd glitches in my screen, and it got wurse, but after restarting it was just fine again

Snipers are just fine now with the new patch, I hope EA doesnt change them, and all you people complaining about claymore spam well here's a thought. PLAY ON A MINES AND CLAYMORE FF ON SEVER FFS. DUH...:wall:

The sniper is great but i think that the other weapon should be less accuracy at long distance, because when you can take out a sniper from a long distance with a G36E.

Well as i was saying, i got the upgraded sniper(UNLOCK) when i check it out, it is still 2 shots to kill a person. Doesnt anybody else think that the sniper should be stronger???

Dont say stuff like this it makes us snipers look like noobs.

I am a muff muncher (not that i want the sniper rifles to be one shot kill lol) there is nothing wrong with drinking from the furry cup if your good at it women will do anything you want its more addictive than heroine to women if your really good like me (tip remember your alphabet :laugh: ).

IMO oppinion the the sniper rifles are brilliant the way there are at the moment all you need to do if you cant get them on the move is don't shot straight away they don't know your there till you fire. So just be patient wait till they stop moving for a sec aim for the top of the head (if you do that basically at nearly all ranges you should get a head shot) then fire. I'm personally getting 15+ head shots a round using this method since the 1.2 patch and i'm not a great sniper its a class I've only just started to use recently.

I think that if any sniper rifle should be 1s1k it should be the M95. You have no idea of what it can do to a person when you get shot by it, and if you want to know just check this movie out (dont click unless you have the stomach to see some guts flying around).

But it's fine as it is atm, the M95 is insta kill many times, I just wish it would do more damage to vehicles.

The sniper rifle is the only gun in the game that with one shot will take you down to 2 bars!! And you want it MORE powerful?

come on now seriously....you already have a one shot kill with the head, and now you want a one shot body kill? PLUS you can spam claymores!!

Sniper, if used correctly is already one of the most powerful kits in the game!

If you stand at arm's reach and shoot someone in the chest with an m95, a little cloud of dust will appear, and the person will move as if they were a brick wall.

M95/m24/l96 should be a one shot kill on the chest.

Go awp on CS. This is battlefield. Sniper is overpowered as it is now b/c claymores have no counter whatsoever and you can now beat assault during any standoff that's 50+m because of insta-prone accuracy increase.
As I've said before, this is a team game and sniper is a solo class, it SHOULD be the hardest class in the game to play effectively. Before the patch, as long as you weren't an idiot and didn't try assaulting as a sniper, it was a pretty well balanced class.
I vote they change it back to the way it was. And they should prob. make the rifles do less damage to armored infantry (takes you down to 4-6 bars instead of 2).

No disrespect, but 1 shot chest kills is a terrible terrible idea. . . but most ideas that try to turn every fps into CS are :hmm:

100% agreed a decent sniper like the fact he cant kill with 1 shot everytime but a good sniper would say to himself "i always try for the headshot if i miss a just take another.

i play sniper all the time and i cap flags,and defend it after.
also make a good squad leader as im normaly covering a flag so teammates can cap.if me team m8 die they respawn on me and are closer plus they have some instant cover.

reson i chose sniper was to play a more patience game,
take my time to hit my target and relish the shot that hits the head,
1 shot kill would take the satisfacton out of it,making it a headshot only makes it a better skilled shot rather than anywhere on the body.

60% accuracy M95,
1.Patcience
2.low sens and a steady hand
3.experience= feel for bullitdrop and leading a running enemy skills
4.servral trips to hospital from stab wounds.
5.slighly less points iar unless the time favours you and in which case you are in the zone then pretty mutch nothing can stop you,

welll put,^^ yes snipers are ussually one hit one kill in real life however no matter what you do it would horriably unbalance the game and you dont want a ****ty game (counterstrike the autosnipe or awp) i think the snipers are fine for this game after the patch. maybe better camo and hiding skills but they are fine with out having every one sniping with their super one shot one kill weapon
