Is there a command like in SOF2 where one could execute a con file to change control settings? I would like to have multiple control versions for specific weapon key binds to take advantage of key placements for each kit. Thankyou. MK

I dont know if this is possible or not but its probably too technical a question to ask for the level of inteligence usually found on these forums. Good luck finding a solution though -

no, you can not.
BF2 doesn't allow for scripts in that way, not like the Quake engine etc.Comment

Thanks guys for prompt replies. I had the cfg's dialed in for different maps in SOF but with BF2 it would be nice to have same ability for all the different kits...oh well just have to come up with best key bind compromise. MK
p.s. I just figured out you can set up your Profiles for each weapon if in match play you could stick with that kit setup. As it is I tend to swap kits a few times in a match b/c of medic revives it might not work for me but thought I would point out that option...Comment

you may and i stress MAY be able to find some kind of windows based scripting that can switch your controls.con files on an ingame key bind but im not sure weather you ingame controls would update or not.
Similar to they way some people scripted keys in windows to trigger the c4 detonation after throwing it.Comment
