Connection, Lag issues
Hi guys apologies if this has already been posted but couldn't find anything.
Recently reformatted PC completely due to slow performance so completely clean. Reinstalled BF2 and new patch (1.2) plus all updated drivers and have been getting lag in all games i join, this seems strange as i only join servers where my ping is less than 100 normally 30, sometimes the lag is really bad othertimes just bearable. Dont think this is a 1.2 patch problem.
Am on a wireless network (netgear WGT624 router, adapter netgear WG111T) 1mb connection, my housemate plays BF2 fine even on high pings suggesting problems with my PC's connection to the network. But it seems strange to get a low ping ingame with loads of lag?
Before the reformat used to be able to have 2 of us playing on the 1mb connection on low ping servers. Suggests to me maybe i'm overlooking something real obvious.
