Game Crash

I have been playing bf2 for a while now and have had no problems. I decided to upgrade to 1 gb of ram about 3 or 4 weeks ago, then about 1 or 2 weeks after that I decided to buy special forces. The instilation of special forces was ok, but when i tried to play it nothing happened but a black screen. I tried to manually uninstall regular bf2 and the expansion then reinstall them, and it would stop after about 30%. Now i have no game any ideas??? please help or post any related situations you have had... thanks

so you launched the game from the shortcup on the desktop and it flashed a black screen and returned to da desktop?

It went to black screen, then stayed there and i had to ctrl+alt+del to get rid of it. And for some reason i cant reinstall it, thats my main problem.

You u please search before you post there are millions of other post about his
