How many unlocks are you supposed to get with each new rank?

My friend is the same rank as me, but the last 2 times he has moved up in rank, he got 2 weapon unlocks each time, whereas I only got 1 unlock...it is really frustrating.

Then, he was playing last night, and RANDOMLY got 2 more unlocks-for nothing!

So anyway, am I supposed to be getting 2 weapon unlocks as well when I move up in rank, or is he just getting a lucky glitch? Please help so I can know if I need to inform EA or anything. Thanks!

yes, and I know that may explain the 2 random unlocks...but how do you explain the 2 unlocks with each new ranking, whereas I only get 1?

The major difference between several of the higher ranks is that you get the "higher" rank if you have certain badges. Whichever rank you get, each pair only gives you one unlock.

Everyone got 2 unlocks recently in preperation for 1.2

everyone with Special Forces...not everyone with the basic game.
It just makes me mad because EVERY time he moves up in rank, he gets 2 unlocks. It sucks for me because I am the same rank as him and have 4 less weapons.

If you have special forces you get 2 unlocks for each rank, if you dont then you only get 1 unlock. But there is a way to cheat this, by getting your friend to play special forces on you account for 1 day, then next time you rank up you get two unlocks. gl everyone

No everyone got 2 unlocks a week or two ago. Also he may get two unlocks but he also has more weapons to unlock then you. Without the extra unlocks per rank it would be impossible to unlock all the weapons.
