Okay, I don't like the idea that they completely lopped off the arms of people who jump and throw their C4.

I think instead of disabling people from jumping AND throwing altogether - they could have just reduced the distance to the average 'plop' when you deploy C4 while stationary. So then at least- you can drop C4 over a fence or over any sort of obstacle- or at least be able to plant C4 on the ceiling somewhere.

I kinda find it unfair to disable people from throwing their C4 altogether (I just don't agree with being able to throw it 20 metres or such).

By the way- it's not about learning to shoot Wargimp... most people throw their C4 as a desperate attempt to destroy incomming armour or low-flying Helos (especially if they're moving away). I really can't imagine taking on Armour or a Helo of any sort with my rifle or side-arm (in order to 'learn ta shoot').

Not in match play and Karkand only servers... People used it is an offensive weapon all the time. Rounds were always C4 over the fence time for 30 minutes.

I'm really enjoying how some people are not able to adapt to the changes, and still jump up everytime they see an enemy. Then they realize that they can't shoot back... lol

Thanks for all the replies to my question. I agree throwing C4 abnormally long distances ("like a frisbee") should be clipped. I just liked to throw it over the wall in Sharqi and can no longer do so.

Nerfing the distance on chucking C4 wasnt a good idea.
All they should have done is make the time between throwing it and operating the detonator 2-3 sec...no insta BOOM.

Exactly, that would have solved c4 chucking....but NOOO, dice screwed up yet another thing.

Not to mention it was fine before. If you died to a c4 chucker then you were either a sniper (tough) or you just couldn't aim/fire fast enough.

Another case of taking the easy way out - the only that needed to be changed with C4 was being able to detonate it instantly.
