New Expansion Pack Complaint....

hehehe getting this off my chest even before they release it..
i am not a person who is going to have this problem...but......i think ea games has made a big mistake releasing the new expansion pack through pay online download only..they staed one in ten of the bf2sf sold was online. fine..but i feel for the ones who won't be able to enkoy this new download becuase they don't have a paypal account or a credit card. they have cash in hand and a store near by.

i am purchesing the downloads for 4 people i know because they don't have the means to purchse this pack online..i don't mind..but don't exclude people from enjoying the new maps and toys..

1 in 10 of bf2sf was purchased online..that means the other 9 were bought at a retailer..hmmmmm...off both again..

come on EA think....not everyone thats plays your games has a visa or mastercard paypal account ready..(and yes..i know there are other ways of using paypal,,trust me they are a pain. and do you really want a computer having access to your bank account)

Or even worse, like me who runs XP64 as operating system on my computer, EA downloader does'n work with XP64, I think EA is going to loose money on selling EF only over internet

I know exactly what you are saying. To get around this, though, I am going to save up money and give it to my parents so they can use their credit card. I am 18 but don't have a credit card or a job.

another question here, what about us who don't want to use a credit card but would prefer to use our debit/check card? I wonder if this is going to be able to be done?

i used my debit card to pay for special forces from ea downloader, it wasnt obvious how to do it tho :P You had to go to alternatvie methods or something, but maybe im jsust noob :P

It is not more difficult to buy it online. You have options:
1.) Ask Mummy and Daddy to buy it for you
2.) Go to gamestop, software etc., or its affiliates and buy a card in the shop that gives you a code and it allows you to download it.
3.) Don't buy it at all and let EA know that you will bot buy half finished products sold as complete.

The reason they sell it like this is because there is no overhead, meaning that they do not have to play for the CD Roms to be made, no shipping fees, nothing. Unfinished from their hands to yours.
I hate to tell you this but, your computer informationa nd everything else about you adn everyone else is already all over the internet. A little something called the patriot act allows access.
