    All Seeing Eye

Anyone know a work around for the ASE, when i try to connect using this browser it connects to servers fine if i dont have a prefix in my name. Soon as i add my clan prefix i try to connect and it takes me to the log in screen sad

Shame really i like using browsers such as ASE and HLSW but the prefix just makes them inopperable.

I can't get ASE to even locate BF2 let alone launch it.

On the ASE toolbar, go to Tools>Options then select the Games Tab. Locate BF2 using the Browse feature and it will get loaded into your list of installed games.

To join a server with ASE go to Filter-->Custom config in CMD line search the game BF2.exe and add this.. "C:\Archivos de programa\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\BF2.EXE" +menu 1 +playerName NAME +playerPassword PASSWORD

I go to the games tab. The browese feature isn't available.

If I click one of the games I already have, then the browse feature is available.

If I click on the Not installed games. Then browse is not available.

Clicking on the installed games will only search for exe's associated with the installed games

BTW is support for ASE about to take a crap too?

Try opening the "Not Installed" tree and locate BF2 there. Then have it auto search after selecting it. If it won't autodetect it from there, you can then have access to the command line.

              No Joy,

BF2 is not listed as a "not installed" game

How can I get this to work and get past the pop-up that is displayed from EA advertising the new EuroForces...mine is going into the game, but then stops once it gets to that pop-up and goes back to the desktop...I would love to get this working as I want to use ASE badly.

That is the problem, I did exactly what I quoted, but it would crash when it got to that popup advertising for the new EF Booster Pack. So anyone got any other suggestions?

You dont actually have to do anything to get your prefix on using all seeing eye, as long as its typed in on the bf2 login screen it will show

People who have this problem usually either haven't entered the details exactly as indicated or have special characters in their nick which aren't accepted by ASE I believe.
