BF2 crash to the desktop

95% of the time I try to play demos recorded on servers running battlerecorder, I get into about the first 1 minute of play and BF2 crashes to the desktop.

Does anyone else have this problem or do they know how to fix it?

seems its not that common then 1 out of 46 so far...

ye ihave the same problem wen im on bf2 randomyly my pc restarts or i get sent to the desktop, this happens on bf2 and css! no1 can tell me a fix for some reason they all brain ded

OK I get the same problem, crash to desktop. This doesnt happen everytime but happens after a round or two. Any suggestions?

it used to happen when i went in an ea server

for my comp the sound glitches, then the screeen goes blue, then it crashes to desktop. i just restart the game but its annoying

Wow we all have the same problem, but no ideas on how to fix it. I play for about 5 minutes tops and then BOOM!!! crash to desktop

It happens to me during server joining. I click join server, then at about 50% crashes back to desktop

i had the same problems and this is how i fixed it.
if you have a p4 go to your bios and disable the HT.
unistall the game. everything. go to your hard drive/ program files/ and delete the EA folder. on your documents delete the bf2 folder and clear your windows temp folder. re install the game. on your options disable the voip and choose the video options of your liking. thats it. got to work for me. hope this could help you guys.
