i'd rather have shells to fire at airplanes then the 2 aa missiles more fun that way imo

He's saying that direct fire AA (ack ack) guns would be an improvement over AA missiles because you'd have to aim at your target, lead it correctly, then spam the living hell outta the sky.

I'm just providing translation, mind you. I think that's kinda a lame idea and there's nothing new about it. AA missiles are a reality. It doesn't take much "skill" to use them in terms of twitch skills. Just deal with it. It takes skill to survive in the skys now.

He fails to remember the jets travel so fast that they'll enter and leave your field of view before you can get any lead corrections. Its the same thing with the cannon on the CIWS, they have to be coming at a shallow angle to your pov or you won't hit them.
