defibrillators can heal in 1.2 ?

Forgive me if this is old news, but the defibrillators can heal you and teammates around you now ?

not to mention they heal insanely fast, I just played on a server and I could just keep on running while being shot huge amounts with the defibs out.

I don't think this was possible before 1.2. I couldn't find anything about it in the readme of the patch either.

Has anyone else noticed this?

yeah, it happened to me. It wasnt the defibrillators though. It was everything. It's a glitch with the game. You don't have to hold your medpack or anything, you will constantly get healed.

Another bug i have encountered was, if you keep throwing ammo bags or medpacks to a dead guy, you will keep getting points.

noticed something fishy going on... makes noises like your healing with defibs but like was said, just a bug

It only worked with the defibrillators, just like having a medpack in your hands except ultra-fast.

I wasn't the only one that could do it either, my squadmates experienced it as well. I could do it the entire gameplay session, through different maps, different teams etc..

I could heal others around me as well, superfast.

I just logged into the same server again and tried it, it's still possible.

And yes I got healing points for it as well.

I'm going to try and see if it's possible on a different server as well

I entered another (random) server and it wasn't possible. I did hear a short 'healing sound' after switching to defibs the first time but nothing else.

I'm not the only one that's for sure, but someone on the server said he couldn't do it (though I doubt if he actually tried it, I think he just assumed).

It appears to be server related.

I have done the same thing i said above in some random server 5 minutes ago. I was getting healed randomly even though i was holding my M4. It didn't happen all the time, but it happened quite a lot.

It happened the whole game to me. I could heal others as well. I can still do it if I log into that same server.

I had it again on a different server today, this time instead of healing really fast it healed instantly. The effect was for one map only though.
