Single player mode : DOOM 3 or Quake 4?

For the single player mode only, which game should I buy : DOOM 3 or Quake 4?

I found Quake 4 more fun.

Both games are short though.

Quake 4. By Far. Much better storyline.

Neither of those, get Quake I! Nothing as fun as jumping around with a Super Nailgun or the Lightning Gun :p

Quake 4, better gameplay & gfx, even thos its on the same code its better.

Doom 3, only because the exp pack availability (That and I just saw DOmm 3 for 19 in a store.

Quake 4 is a good game too, though. Hard to say.


But given the ability to add more to it I would go with doom3 (By adding I mean the expansion pack)

I will finish F.EA.R. and then buy Quake 4.

BTW, F.A.I.R. has a good story line (so far), but the multiplayer is very BAD. Not up to the market right now!!!

F.E.A.R. multiplayer owns, so does singleplayer.

Doom 3 was great, so was Quake 4, but didn't like Doom 3 multiplayer, and Quake 4 too many people bouncing around with rocket launchers in Quake 4.
