BF2 Messed Up

[FLIPINOM4D]

My BF2 always messes up in some games everytime I got near an explosion or when a big enough bullet is hitting the ground (blawkhawk chainguns, Helicopter Guns, Jet Machine Guns, etc)

this is what happens, its usually when I am still having the shell shock.



how do I fix it or does anyone know whats going on

I am using 128MB 9550 AGP 8x slot card with 6.2 ATI Catalyst Drivers

Does it stay like that until you close BF2? or when you get out of shell shock.

when I get shell shock, doesn't effect anything else, just in-game when I get affect by it, anyone know what I should do?

Have you checked to see if you have the most current sound drivers?

If you aren't sure about them. Go here www.driveragent.com

download the activex program and run the scan.

It will check all of your drivers on your computer and tell you whether or not they are all current. It makes a big difference in how your computer responds with BF2. Its also the first thing EA support will tell you to do if you submit a support ticket.


BTW I did have the same problem.

Also if your drivers are not current they "may" also contribute to the graphics problem you are having.

It sounds like it's your video card. you need at least a 256mb video card to get the full effect of the game.
I think your 128mb card is crashing due to geometry and texture filtering

As this happens to you in combat seens have you tried lowering the setting for effects in the video options.
If im right this controls such things as smoke/bullet holes/explostions/dust from the road when a tank moves/etc. In the middle of a battle the graphics card has to work hard but this setting can be lowered to medium or even low with little affect on what you see but can have a massive effect on performance.

It might work,worth a try.

I saw almost the same pic on some cheating forum,it was so funny:laugh: they made a hack and it was impossible to use because of that.
Its have something to do with anti-blur :evil:
So dude if you use it turn it off,get hit and post you pic

P.S. this is not GCard Problem.
And i'm sure you use it you got 2 crosshairs in one LOL

Try pressing 'Prt Scrn' That fixs alot of graphical glitchs.

why would I want to take pictures of the battle lol, good lord I am probably going to buy a new GPU as soon as I get hte money or I can find a fix for it
