Does anyone have any idea about waht DICE and EA were smoking when they made this patch? I am curious to know, maybe for a good cause. It might help benefit people around the world. Please tell me.

I think they were tripping on Acid when they decided to nerf the helicopters so much and change the new a2a into a game of hide and seek.

they must be doing some drugs at the moment cause it seems that the stats have completely stopped updating... it's been a good 7 hours since my last battle and they still havent updated.. i swear if i dont get my veteran knife/pistol badges im gonna be ****ed

the patch is perfectly fine and helicopter whores were WAY overpowered in 1.12.

EA could care less, because you will still BUY EVERY BF2 EXPANSION AND BOOSTER PACK! MUHAHAHAH!

EA knows you will give them money, and they could care less if you complain or not.

They had so much money raked in from BF2 sales. They couldn't think of enough things to do with it so they tried smoking it and turned retarded.

not really. BF2 is the first EA game that I've ever bought, and it is also the last. i dont like EA, it's not because of the new patch or my stats being reset. its because of a simple fact: they suck, from every perspective.

They are "bitching" because the patch also created a lot of new bugs, and disregarded fixing some old ones (red/blue tag anyone?). So you may like it, while others, including myself, just want a patch that fixes the bugs in the game and doesn't create more!

EDIT: In response to above poster, the only thing unbalanced about helicopters was sketchy AA. Helicopters weren't invincible.
