Hey guys, what settings should i run bf2 on with this system?

Pentium 4 Northwood 2 Ghz
eVGA GeForce 6600GT 128MB 500/1000
512 mb ram

I know i need more memory but cant buy any right now, if anyone has some suggestions for cheap memorythe please post.

Ill have to do with this right now so what do you think>?

I'd think you would get away with all settings on low, max view distance, 1024 x 768 and 85 HZ refresh rate.... maybe geometry on medium?


Or you could just test it yourself

ok, but if i had 1.5 gig. what would be best.?

you could maybe put up your textureish settings (if thats a word lol) but what you really need is a better video card and proccessor

If i was you i wouldn't buy 1 gig of ram for that system...mabey 1/2 a gig, it would be bottlenecked by your graphics card.

Oh and there is no such thing as cheap memory.
