Points accumulation is the single most important focus of the game

I HATE EA!! They better start updating soon cause it took me forever to actually get the veteran knife badge (had 50 kills with knife so automatically got veteran) and i got a veteran pistol badge too... and many many many points. If i dont get those then im seriously bombing EAs office buildings..

I was worried mine wasn't updating because I installed patch, played some, bought and installed SF2 + reinstall full patch, no updates.

It's not giving stats, but it lets me earn new awards in game, though it doesn't update those either in BF2. It also won't give me ANY unlocks from either the 1.2 patch or BF2. Driving me crazy

FOCUS of the game.... The game and the majority of people who play set goals and achieve those goals via point accumulation... Winning games is part of that.... People play on ranked servers and succumb to EA's rules regarding those arenas for the sole purpose of having their stats recorded... The tracking of stats is what BF2's niche' is in FPS genre... If those stats aren't recorded, it might as well be an offline single player game (which right about now, is all it is good for)....

I think the stats aren't working right is cause its the weekend.. no skool, so many people are playing. Thats just my thought and it probably isn't right. who knows? Just as long as we all get our points/awards.

man ea is really starting to tick me off . this is the second straight weekend this has happened. they are making enough money off this game they should at least be able to update the damn stats! get some damn servers that can handle the load average of all the stat crunching and/or a fatter pipe or something. maybe what they once thought was adequate is no longer the case perhaps 'cause of growing amout of players.

It's good to know that I'm not just extremely unlucky, and that the servers I'm picking aren't just happening to be unranked even though they say ranked in the title. Thank you all for posting that you too aren't getting your stats recorded.

I'm very worried that all my progress will be lost. I play a lot and when I play I earn a lot. I've probably lost enough points to rank up to Major. This is very very depressing..

You guys know what this means right? A hotfix for the patch is imminent. This was happening last weekend right before the patch was released, so I suppose the same type of thing is going on.
