Ok people, i have to tell this story because it happens to me every single game. I have screamed and shouted till im blue in the face in chat but i never can quite spread the message far enough. Today, I hope for the last time, it happened yet again, this time with wonderfully disasterous consequences. A noob jumped out of a perfectly good tank. I see it over and over again. Todays instance came when my squad was moving into mashtuur city to cap the mosque. We almost had it cleared when said nooblet drove up in his tank and started taking rocket fire. He panicked of couse, jumped out and ran when a spec op started tossing c4 on his tank. when he got out though, the spec op simply jumped into the tank and killed my entire squad with one tank shell and some well placed machine gun fire. Needless to say, i was on the verge of smashing my keyboard over the monitor. The noob however escaped to safety by jumping over the wall into the riverbed, yay!
By posting this story here (and believe me this is only one of MANY other stories very similar to it) I hope to give some insight to the novice players out there reading this by saying NEVER GET OUT OF A TANK! EVER! IF THE TANK IS ON FIRE WITH ONE HEALTH BAR LEFT, OH WELL, DIE LIKE A MAN!
And while I'm here, I cant remember how many people I have killed because they drove their vehicle up to a flag they can only cap while on foot and jumped out to do so. LESSON: IF YOUR IN A TANK OR APC AT A FLAG YOU CANT GET TO, FINE, STAY THERE AND SPAWN CAMP UNTIL HELP ARRIVES. I once went on a 36 to 4 killing spree because a bunch of guys in an APC at the bridge base in Kubra Dam all got out to cap the flag. Yes they got the flag, but i got their APC and then proceeded to pwn the friggin daylights out of anything that tried to spawn there for the rest of the round. Have i made my point yet?
