Did they fix the binding controls problem?

In the new patch did they fix the control binding problem? The one where it gives you an "already in use" error when you try to reassign keys.

nope, say you want to use x key to release smoke while in a tank/apc and use it for something infantry wise like say turn on your night vision, you have to edit the controls.con file in your my docs\bf2\profiles folder by hand.
