L96 sniper

I have been getting raped by this thing lately. I see it's part of the Euro Forces pack. I kills in one shot easy, more easily than the M95.

Beware. If you're opposite a squad of them you're in for it. One shot and you're dead, and unlike the M95 that usually takes 2 shots (unless it's a head shot) which gives you an idea where it's coming from, you have no idea where it came from.

It only kills in one shot if it's a headshot.

The L96A1 is the univerisal equivalent of the M24.

It's an exact copy of the M24, except for scope and sound.

Personally, I don't believe all those 1 shot kills I have experience this week have been all head shots. It may be but it's too hard to believe right now. The number of 1 shot kills from the M95 I can count on one hand. The number of 1 shot kills from that thing this week alone is about twice that so either I have had the misfortune of being targeted by an eagle eye master, or it's more powerful than you think.

You need to remember that the patch knocked up the accuracy on sniper rifles and the L96A1 has those extremely thin crosshairs.

It seems odd that they would choose an unlock that is almost identical to the m24. What's the point of that?

Obviously if you're playing MEC or China then you can't choose the M24 and the L96A1 sounds cool when fired :)

Trust me, they were all headshots. Do you even have the unlock? I've been using it all week and I know for a fact that it takes two body shots with the L96 to kill any infantry (armored or not).

Also, UBAR is your friend.

I have to admit that I really love this gun. I was pretty skilled with M24 but this gun I could marry. I just took some poor sniper over 400m yesterday. Yes it took some extra rounds to find how much to aim above, but that was just learning, now I know. This dude looked so small in the scope, that it actually was just 3-4 pixels moving, but with thin scope cross it's not a problem any more.

With L96, I changed my shooting strategy from 2 shot to head shot, just wait that enemy stops for a moment. On maps like Mashtur City, this gun gives a real edge. Yesterday I killed 23 MEC soldiers in one round, and on that round I had connection lost (again ), and because the server was full directly after trying return, I waited some 5 minutes to get back. Damn, I bet there went my expert badge.

As a summary I just want to say tha u can't hide and try to crawl behind some corner for shooting back. I'll pop yor head off with an ease :evil:

Yeah, it rocks, huh. Lol, told ya Grafisk, it's the M24 with cooler sound and better scope. Already upped my accuracy with 3%. Lol, okay, I only used the M95 for the last 75 hours, but hell, the L96A1 is my new baby!

Someone could be quick pistoling you too after the first shot. I don't know if that glitch was ever fixed. I like the improved precision on the autosnipers. They actually serve a purpose for long range now.

The only thing wrong with it is that you cant shoot through car windows or red barrels with it.
