Here is another situation for you picture this scene:

A squad of 4-5 members makes there way on karkand to cap the square/hotel, hell even just walking down the road. Spec ops comes around the corner throws c4 detonates before it hits the ground and the squad is wiped out and the spec ops runs off with 5 kills to his name.

The reason it's been fixed like it has, is due to the obvious fact c4 is not suppose to be thrown.

READ before u post, I didnt say not to fix air-burst. I said there is a much smarter way to fix it.
as for ur scene:
1. 4-5 ppl travels within a c4's blasting range? must be a retarded squad.
2. if u cap a flag without watching ur surroundings closely, a few nades can still do the same job of sending u flying.
3. "walking down the road", im wondering where they are? battlefield or a field trip? if they just rush down the middle of the road like boneheads, they are asking for an ambush.

conclusion: the scene u created was not in bf2, it's a group of retarded homos on a field trip.

Obviously you have never experienced being on the recieving end of someone chucking c4 at infantry, the blast range of one piece of c4 is enough to cover the whole capping area of the flags i mentioned (hotel, square). Looking at your stats, the majority of your infantry kills come from noob tubing and c4. Watch your surroundings closely? by doing this to see the spec ops coming on these flags i mentioned you are going to need to see through the walls.

The roads you ask, considering karkand is your most played map i'm amazed you have never seen a road. Although it was probley because you were too busy throwing c4 and noob tubing.

Bottom line is it was fixed, your not suppose to chuck c4 and your methods for gaining kills playing infantry is gone so you will come here and whine about it.

u seem to have a hard time understanding English. so i will say it in a plain and simple way:
I WANT C4 AIR-BURSTING TO BE FIXED.
only by another method.

as for my stats, my GL kill is 1380, c4 kill is 846, out of total of 22393 total kills. Where do u get that "got most kills by toobing and c4ing infantries" info?
and im wondering how can u tell a c4 kill is against infantry or vehicle? Next time u gonna make something up, at least learn some common sense first.

because c4 is used so much in todays wars against tanks and as a infantry killa. demolition mate.

only the fool is going to run over any sorta black object on the ground in karkand. also if that is as far as u can throw it then try aiming a bit higher. i can still get both roads locked down with c4 from one side.

You should install the patch first. Thats why you can still throw over the fence.

So the issue is that its a little more realistic and balanced and you cant just chuck c4 around and over so easily. You already have the most accurate infantry weapon in the game with the G36 and the scar.
I was tired of games where Spec ops was the primary kit for both teams...
Now it is a little more balanced, thats why the C4 chucker abusers are ****ed.
Adapt and overcome.
Now my Support guy may have a chance when im prone shooting for 4 seconds and about 40 rounds in your back and you turn around and go pop pop Im dead. Now that was a crime......

I can't believe some people respond before they even read what the thread is about.

This guy isn't asking for C4 "chucking" and Air Detonating to return. He's saying they fixed it incorrectly and should have fixed the actual Timer not the fact that you can throw and set it off instantly.

Because they stopped you from jump throwing you also can't heal or resupply over walls or across firefights in streets, etc.

Dice/EA took the easy route and just shut off jump tossing instead of fixing the damn timers and it's a shame. Plus, everyone saying "good" is using a double standard because most are praising no jump shooting as "realistic" and correct. Well, I may not be able to jump and shoot but I can sure as hell use jumping to throw a small pack further.

-a person can't throw a c4 pack over a short wall is realistic?
-a person can't shoot/throw stuff while jumping is realistic?
-G36c is accurate but has low damage
-SCAR is not very accurate
-it's listed to be the first kit doesn't mean it's a primary kit
-being able to throw a c4 5 meters far is abusing?
-4 sec and 40 round from the back and u can't kill an armorless specop?

I think {wxc}panda is right, tankwhores must be stupped somehow... but the situation is still not that bad that you cant play specops , you have to think and hide your C4 and eventually someone will run into it.

I don't believe C4 should be able to be thrown over fences and walls.

You want to blow up a tank get the Anti-Tank or Engineer kit...
