I just got raped on Oman as MEC by a USMC M4 not once, but twice in a row, and from one or two shots. WTH? One of the shots was from long range. I saw the guy coming down a hill before he saw me so I pop off some rounds from my G36. Nothing, next thing I know he drops down, and bam, I was dead instantly. The health meter went dead after what seemed one shot. I don't know this for sure but you know sometime when you take hits you feel it, your health drops a bit, you know. This was just instant so it had to be one or two hits. Since when does an M4 rape you like that? It doesn't make sense. I hope it's not some tweak in 1.2.

Yep, happened to me too, i heard 1 shot from a scar L at med range and died, chances it was a headshot = 5%. However the guy firing it did have time to fire five shots so i think it was the sound bug.Comment

ya...it has happened to me with a variety of weapons. What happens is you just don't hear the other shots...because of lag or its a bug or whatever...really they were probably shooting full auto and when you died you only heard a few shots. Annoying, I know :\Comment

Its been happening to me a lot since 1.2, old weapons that seemed weak are doing high damage and are very accurate, i think a few things got stealth buffs or they did it inadvertantly :p. I dunno its strange anyway.Comment

If it's been going on since the demo why hasn't it happened to me before? The guy was a mile away, I saw him first, he dropped down and boom. It all happened too fast for it to be him unloading on me but me not hearing it because of some sound bug. And look, it's the M4, not the most powerful gun in the arsenal. Like I said, my health just instantly disappeared and I died in 1 sec rather than dropping incrementally. I just don't believe an M4, even a headshot, can do that twice in 2 mins.Comment

On Sharqi, i frequently use an M16 or M4 in the crane instead of a sniper rifle. It works great, especially when guys are sprinting down the hill.Originally posted by motorboatJones

If you aim for the head, you get a one-shot kill lots of times. But, two shots is the most i usually need.Comment
