I was piloting a cobra before and I raised up to the UAV's level and my gunner shot it down. Apart from that, I haven't been able to get one down yet.

I've shot several of them down. Sometimes it only takes a few LAV shots, but other times it can take more or less. I think it must be due to the fact that other people are probably shooting at it as well.

I've taken a couple down....once from unloading a PKM into it, the other via AT missle. They fly in a perfect circle so its a very predictable pattern.

its interesting, since this patch and visible uav's you notice both teams tend to be launching the uav almost in the exact same area. Sometimes they are almost riding each other they are so close.
