STOP complaining about 1.2..also question

I played it on 1.2 the other day and i LOVE flying the attack helis...why? because i fly low fast and tight turns...sure i get killed...but not as much as others say....stay low, hide, kiss the ground and mountains...
So now on to my question i downloaded the full patch and it wont work on my game...so now im downloading it for the incremintal so maybe that will work...anyone have any advice why it might not of worked?:)

Download the full 1.2 install. If you ever have to reinstall the game since it's BF2, you won't have to run multiple patches.

The incremental patch is just that, the increment that is not patched. If you have 1.12 then use the incremental patch.
If you just bought the game r4ecently, you should not bother with the 1.12 patch, go for the 1.20 full patch.

BTW: People are upset at the patch because the game has been changed so that the learning curve is non existant. Everyone all along had the same weapons, same skills, and same abilities to maneuver, but somewhere along the line the newer gamers got lazy and did not want to wait to learn to play like the rest of us did.

i did and i patch it and nothing it still shows up as 1.1.2 or whatever

about new AA , well, you where probably lucky, once it locks it kills, plane and simpel, it is oiverpowered , today some guy was aiming at me with AA , I did fly low and then I even got behind a building, still there was the misile lock, so I turn the chopper around, and what do I see ?????????????

Two misiles going just around the freaking building killing me , no ********, they just made a freaking 90 degree turn around the building to get me

I will dominate any new player that I see. There's nothing majorly different in 1.2. You need to hide behind stuff and learn to aim. It's simple. Not everyone can do it. I do just as good as I did before if not better.

That comment is all ignorance on your part.. There is a whole new learning curve and people like you can't even see it.. And if anyone is lazy it is people like you that are here complaining instead of learning the new curve..

The only thing that "leveling" the playing field did, as so many like to complain about, is make the game more difficult for everyone.

I still had no problem getting my kills when I was playing last night. If I'm a better, faster, more accurate shot, then I win in a gunfight. I don't care how accurate they made the weapons. This game isn't supposed to be a bunch of rambos running headlong into the enemy. Pick your position, find cover and move. I enjoy the extra challenge of knowing that at least if a new player points their gun in my direction, there is a greater chance of getting hit.

My scores were just fine. Nothing has changed. The only people complaining are the ones that were so set in their ways and unwilling to play the game in a slightly more realistic fashion. That doesn't mean that the game is realistic (because I know some of you get your panties in a bunch when anyone mentions it being realistic), but it is a little closer to something that might actually happen in a real battle.
