xBunny Hopping Shooters still suck lol

I was playing last night and this same guy was running all around with AT rocket, and he we would try to jump and shoot and nothing would comeout lol

So he died in the air trying to do a second jump, its funny how you can tell who were the biggest bunny hoppers.

Not only that he said he was owning me it was like 1-10 he killed me with an AT rocket when i was sniping

It seems they have moved from the GL to the Eryx. I've seen quite a few of them shoot infantry with it and I was on one map and every vehicle on our team just got owned constantly because basically everyone on the other team was AT.

I think the one thing that sucks is when it comes to engineers...you cant jump and throw mines, which sucks because if you encounted a tank, that was the only way you might survive (I mean if they were at distance and saw you)

Like for example, I was an engineer playing on warlord as the SAS. I drive up and see where the enemy tank spawns, run for it but an enemy beats me to it. I'm on the other side of the wall where the rear of the tank is, so they dont see me, but I go to throw some mines over the fense and, well you know how it is now, I couldn't do it. So i had the choice of risking going in there to place mines, or not going in and probably encountering the tank down the road...lol. Great choices.

yes, I agree enginers wont be able to do much with a tank in an open area. If you cant throw a mine at a top of a tank you are toasted :S, but at least its more realistic that way -.-

Yup, definitely need to be more careful with the Engineer kit now..

I love this new patch, made a huge improvement in the gaming experience IMO

I think its more that lots of people are trying out the new unlock toys, so AT class (P90) and Sniper class (L96a2) are being used much MUCH more then normal, give it a few days and i think it will return back to a normal kit spread.

However it cracks me up seeing assault classes bunny hop towards you once...then twice.... then remember they cant noob toob in the air anymore so try it from standing... then usually miss by miles as i tear them a new Ahole I have also seen hundreds of assault players actually use the gun for a change THEN swop to the GL if needed (and the G3 is used so much more in the last few days i barely reconise the guns noise as it was barely used pre-patch ) im sure this is the way it was meant to be played and it makes the game ten times more fun to boot IMHO.

They shouldn't have taken out shooting and jumping. People should just learn to aim and take advantage someone who's jumping.

My problem with it was always when I would come around a corner and a guy would jump over my head and launch a gl right down on top of me. That was fixed.

When people are close, bunny hoppers are hard to track considering you can jump about 7 feet in the air. At distance they are sitting ducks.

Definitely true - folks have bunny hopping so hard-wired into their reactions that they do it instinctively, even though it results in them dying.

It's still an absurd assumption thinking that people moved on to the Eryx in anticipation of the GL "nerf"

Heck how did you know this person even "moved on" to the Eryx from the GL?

Heck (number 2) I'm suprised people are even using the AT class atm, the amount of bugs relating to the Eryx/SRAW makes the AT class horrendus to play.

Heck (number 3) the GL isn't even nerfed at all.:hmm:

It's not for me to say whether the ones rocketing me can shoot, but when they rocket me, reload and rocket someone else, it does raise questions. Especially considering they were doing it at all ranges.

But I won't complain, my G3 actually works now.
