Launching BF2 or BF2:SF

What is the best way to launch this game? I have both BF2 and BF2:SF installed. Is it better to Launch SF all the time then pick vanilla bf2 maps from there, or or change the mod under community if I want to play original maps.

The reason I ask is a friend always crashes to desktop and hears the background music (even though it's turned off) when he picks a vanilla BF2 map from the BF2:SF launcher.

Decide which you want to play, Vanilla or SF then launch appropriate Shortcut.
Also disable browser options to show maps from both.
Waste of time launching one and deciding to play the other.

Also you can remove/move/rename the opening movies so
when you launch a flav of bf2, it goes straight
to the "Welcome to Duty" login screen
soooo nice.:)

Yeh, ive tried playing SF from the Vannila disc and sometimes it restarts the game so that SF loads, again.
