Aim accuracy - Dodgy mouse or settings?

Ok, I set my mouse sensitivity high so that I can spin around quickly.
The problem I have is that when I lie down with a sniper rifle and look through the scope, my crosshair only moves up/down/left/right about 6 pixels at a time which is not accurate enough to line somebody up properly.

The innacurracy equates to shooting about 1m left or right of a target over a moderate distance!

Is this because the sensitivity is too high?
or.. can nobody get better accuracy than this when sniping?
Can I fix it?

Well think about it, when you turn up the sensitivity, you make the pointer move farther for less hand movement. So of course this is going to effect you when you are trying to snipe people. If you are set in your ways of having a high sensitivity and are an avid sniper, or want to be, I suggest getting the Logitech MX1000 laser mouse. You can easily switch between sensitivity settings, and it is far more accurate then normal optical mice. Beware though, if you rely on the clicks of your scroller to know what weapon you are switching to, then this mouse will be a hard transition, because the scroller on this mouse is smooth, ie does not click while scrolling.

It would be nice to be able change the mouse sensitivity while zoomed for each individual gun. (individual sensitivity settings)

Logitech MX518 with software that enables you to choose 5 different pixel settings, i have 3 1600dpi 1200dpi and 800dpi.
1600dpi in chopper and armour, 800 dpi when sniping.

i still use me logitect duel sensors(400dpi each)800 only if i install drivers.
but i use 1click higer than the defualt bf2 sens and have my dpi to 400,slow to spin 360 <-which i find i dont need as would be facing the same way i started anyway.

i find this gives me good accuracy as smaller movments are easly tracked,if it was on high i would have a problem.

basacaly try low sens :)
