I have been playing B2 for a short while nmow, and all I can say is that B2 is the best and most fun game I have ever played online. I used to play Counterstrike like crazy...But ever since they took the power of the AWP quickswitch away I stopped playing...Games are not fun when anyone including noobs can pick up any weapon and kill you.
And guess what...B2s new patch does the same crap!
When I heard about the patch and what it would do I was like, "great! here goes another good game"
And BOY WAS I RIGHT!
I will admit, I am one of those Bunner hoppers and dolphin divers!
I am the medic that ALWAYS revives you! You know how there is always medics around but you never seem to get back up? Thats because you arent playing with me! You will ALWAYS be revived if Im around! I will bunny hop into fire to bring you back and I will succeed.
But what did they do? The decided to make a patch that took everything away from me...
When I first installed the patch I was thinking that I wouldnt be able to do anything like I used too...
And I was surprised to find out that the patch affected the WRONG aspects of the game!!!
I can STILL bunny hop! I can still hop all around you while you are shooting at me, land when you are out of bullets and kill you. I defensively bunny hop, I dont need to shoot while bouncing around, I can wait until I land to kill anyway. Thats not the thing they fixed...
If they were meaning to fix bunny hopping they should make it so that you cant jump without a 2 sec delay between each jump...THATS HOW THEY SHOULD FIX IT!
Cause the way they fixed it was STUPID! They made it so you cant jump and shoot...And you cant jump and throw nades, or throw ammo or med packs or anything! WTF is that?
What army personal cant jump and throw a nade to get it farther out there or jump and throw a med pack to your buddy hiding down the street a bit so he wont get killed? Obviously the guys in B2 cant...Cause the patch, patched the wrong things...
Now the Dolphin diving thing...They messed up there too! Now you cant revive your buddy, get up and revive your other friend.
There is a time limit on hitting the ground and using your weapon(med pack is a weapon now I guess) And then move and use it again...
Here is my example, I was on warlord, in the house and 5 people were dead around me! Usually I can revive them all in about 10 to 15 seconds depending on distance...Well I go to help them out and what happens?
I dive for the first guy, revive him and try to get up to help the second guy, but I cant move...it wont let me get up and use my paddles again, I had to crawl to him and the 3rd guy...And by the time I could get up and jump and move the 5th guy was already fading away...
WTF is that? Who designed this patch???
And my biggest problem with B2 now is....!!!!!
Claymores and ammo guys....
You can just sit there and drop claymores like no ones business and ammo your buddy all day long and you cant get blown up by your own claymores or explosives! So places like the towers and the house can be blockaded in and the opposing force cant do ANYTHING!
NOW WHO IS STAT PADDING???
Just like old school counterstrike 1.5, I will be playing the old patch until they finally take it away and at that point I will stop playing B2...
This game was by far my favorite...but they have made it so that Noobs can kill ELITE! Once again, because everyone complains that the best of the best are bunny hopping around and dolphin diving all over the place that the Noobs suck so much they cant kill them, they make a patch that messes up the entire game and now everyone but those who just started playing the game today and didnt know any different can play....
GO NOOBS!!!!!! You f-in losers! If you arent good enough that you get killed by the bunny hoppers then you shouldnt be playing the game in the first place!
Bunny hopping and dolphin diving was a part of the game and by them trying to take it out and it messed gameplay up so badly, this should show all those whiners who complain about the Elite that it WAS actually part of the game...
O well...Im done venting...Nothing will get done about this anyway, I just needed to say something..
