Think about the bugs this would bring.... You hit eject and then all of a sudden you spawn in the enemy's airfield. I am all for NOT adding new features as they are always the biggest eff ups. Leave the game the way it is, fix the BUGS and then come out with a new game using the ideas (like this one) to add onto it. Plus, I hated it (in 1.12) when I had chased another airplane around for 3 minutes using only guns only to find that when they catch on fire, the guy bails out of bounds... suicides and leaves me with no kill.
If they gave you an ejection seat the person that got your craft flaming should at least get a kill damage assist or something.
