    Connections Problems: Unmodified Version Required

    Aight Im having a problem connecting to some servers, once I verify it exits back to the multilayer screen and I get the message "This server only accepts unmodified versions of BF2" or something close to that. Help!!! I have tried reinstalling countless times, and updating with both the incremental patch (from 1.12) and the complete one.

      This means that the patch didn't 'patch' correctly even if it didn't give you any error messages.

      Open the browser and try connecting to a server that does NOT have a green TV icon, these ones should work fine while the ones with the green TV icon will kick you.

      I'll see if the new patch creates a patchlog file that may help you trace the problem....
