Hey guys, I am trying to round up as many pictures from both these places as I can. Mainly to help me with my mapping, but also I am about to start up a website with a few people I know that have gotten back from Iraq recently. So, if there are anyone that has been to Iraq in ODS or OIF, or Afghanistan in OEF please post your pictures of your experience.

I am trying to re-create the middle east as authenticly as possible, in all of it's glory (I kid, I kid). Thanks for your time and service to your country :)

well i dont really know what u mean but if ur looking for like overhead shots of iraq i would try google earth but if u want like actual pictures of it i cant help u sorry

Heh, I use both of those sources... but I want pictures from Iraq straight out of a grunts photo album.

Try Google Earth and look for main cities of the countires, Like for AFghanistan, look at "Kabul" and such.

No, I use all those... I want to get some pictures that are from the grunts prespective. It would be intresting to see what people in this community experienced (to a point) over there.

Well ive been to Damascus, Syria its particulary nice. I only have pictures of historical sites so not sure how much help that would be but if you want more info you can PM me and ill ceratinly go into more detail. :)

OHH I just relized i have video of there Tanks on my camera. it said no cameras and i was driving by so i put my camera next to seat and yeah there msutve been at least 200 tanks. Yeah i was in shock it was in middle of desert "military zone" hehe

I've got some from my first tour in Iraq - but we were on the firing range - and hence - out in the middle of nowhere. Flat and featureless for miles, if you are interested, how do I get them to you? Hang on, I'll try posting them, here, just got to protect a few identities first. In the mean time, this'll tickle ya.
