You obviously haven't played Delta Force have you, until servers started using cheat blocker it was like living in hell, not only were people running at the speed of light, they were invisible bunny hopping noobtubeing B*%!&.

Now most servers run CB (similar to PB) so there isn't much of that anymore but it was far worse than what you get in BF2.

Sorry no, I don't buy Novalogic's games, I am hoping enough people will eventually join my quest againt ****ty game companies that survive even though theie games suck. Novalogic games are absolute crap! So no I didn't play Delta Farce online.

You must not have been reading patch notes very closely during all these years. :) Most games are changed around in tons of way over their online life, adjusting to newly discovered gameplay issues, imbalances or newly found exploits. The main reason it happens more to BF2 than to most other games is simply due to BF2 having a greater fanbase and budget.

Maybe you didn't read my post that clearly, as I stated I(me, myself) have not seen another online game nerfed like this and I have been playing online for 10+ years. No I don't read them too much, I rely on forums like this for all my 411.

I remember playing a Mech War style game online (circa 1995). The players would move ahead of you and then you would shoot your own team mate in the back and then type "x player just killed y player, lets get the back stabber". Then all your team mates would take out the innocent player while you continue shooting the rest of your team in the back as they think the shots are from player x defending himself.

Man, those were the fun days. Now you call them TK's and there are all those other terms being used.

But, back then it was fun to turn your own team against each other. I used to love instigating stuff like that.. so fun!!!!!!

As much as a truly...DEEP down hate divers with PKM's, I can't complain about it because EA left it in the game...I have Played Day Of Defeat(Half Life MOD) for over 3 years and when you go prone your weapon disappears until you settle on the ground which can be a couple of seconds. They should seriously think about putting something like that into the next patch...AND ONCE AGAIN I HATE PKM'ers who do that...If EA left it in the game where you can Toss C4 far....Most people will do it to get badges. It comes down to how realistic EA wants the game to be. Everything else is allowed.

I would like to see this as well. Please show where it states in there you cannot use a jeep in that manner.

if you are refering to the last section (3 LOCAL (PRIVATELY RENTED) RANKED SERVER RULES MODIFICATIONS) I belive you read it wrong... that section is refering to rules that can be set by clans on private servers. if other than that please point out where it states the restriction on jeeps and their useage. I do not belive that it does.

Only things i cheat on are single player games, when they're to hard, or if my pc runs like a snail.

For example, in my Doom3 i got about 6 or 7 different graphics/sound mods all running at once for one true 'mod'... man, if there are any explosions the particles just make my pc DIEEEEEEEE.

Ive seen cheatin on bf2 aswell, mostly snipers insta-headshotting while jumping or somesuch. But that was a long time ago, id wager the hack was eliminated back then.

I agree Benis that its ok to to do whatever you want with single player games. But when your playing against someone else and you have something that gives you an edge over the other player...Thats wrong.

I have never ever understood the need to cheat or exploit bugs in a major way. You play a game to play a game surely. The actual act of playing it is the reason why you have brought the game.

And I also can't understand why the programmers can't provide more of a 'cheater' protection code. Valve have an anti cheat system built into their server provider, it's in house and it appears to be working. I have never seen a cheater on there since they implemented it. Why can't dice just keep on top of the cheater issue's like aimbots (If it goes that far in the BF2) by just writing server code that won't allow access. It takes long enough to enter a game anyway I don't see how an extra few lines of code to scan through to allow entry into a game can do any harm.

As for the exploitation part of things, I can never work these things out myself. But if they are in the game, they are in the game. Dice are progressivly (and supposedly) sorting them out. This is the same as many games. Doesn't float my boat, abusing the system like, but unfortuanatly I goota deal with them if I wanna enjoy the game.

another noob exploit is the kamakazi car bombers they c4 there vehical (vodnick,humwv,cars) and than run into a lifting plane or tank and than get out and blow up that is so gay that needs to be fixed
