How does one deal with Noobs hogging choppers?

I noticed lately that on the Ghost map and obviously Sharqi, there is usually a group of 4 or 5 people hopping around trying to be the first in the choppers.

Each time i find myself the gunner with a noob as the pilot who manages to crash on take off or while flying without hostile fire.

So what tips does anyone have on how to deal with this situation?

Obviously i cant suggest a kick vote because they havent done anything wrong, except be a noob. Obviously, there are too many of them to beat them to the choppers. etc.

Too bad EA couldnt limit chopper usage to high rankers or perhaps high rankers get priority in choppers as pilot.

If you want to be a real F@g, you can pull out the noob ejecting m95....or you can just do what I do and flash them if they get to be the pilots...

Lol, works like a charm, I was on Daquing Oilfields, waiting on the jet patiently and some guy spawned, and hopped into the jet while I was going to, so the M95 is good for those situations :).

TKing and FB your own team ?
Looks like all 3 of you are the noobs.
Everyone paid for the game, they're entitled to use anything they want.
Too bad EA cant limit the IQ required to play.

Yeah, Team-Killing for vehicles is really weak and can get you at the very least a kick if not a ban on most servers...
If you're patient enough maybe try to give them a little guidance and coach them on good helo pilot skills...i mean we were ALL noobs once.

If not, just go play the game and forget about it....let them whore the helo and rack up deaths....go jump into the action on the ground!

The away around this (from personal experience) is to keep trying to get the chopper, eventually you will.
When you do dont crash and own the sky.
            Works for me. )

Dude, no one wants to see that, put it away.

And if you're sniping teammates then you're lame.

I had a teammate snipe me once to only get blown sky high before he could even get of the ground. :yay:

The enemy fulfilled my revenge. :nerr:

But it's so annoying when you can actually fly, and you enjoy using helicopters in the game you've spent £50 on to have some idiot who can practise offline end up wasting the helicopter you could have used to get a high score with.

I agree. Its one thing if the noob takes off and doesnt hit any targets and eventually get shot down.

But, the noobs im talking about cant even take off without hitting a tree on takeoff or flipping the chopper at the landing pad, thereby killing you (the gunner) and losing the only chopper.

I agree, killing your team player just to get the chopper is what NOOBS do!

There must be a better solution. Maybe EA can add a field for qualifying as a pilot? People have to demonstrate basic skills and are awarded their flight wings allowing them access to the choppers and jets?

Joint Operations had a practice course in their game for learning how to use all the weapons and vehicles. It was pretty kewl. Explained tips, strategies, put you in a scenario against computer enemy soldiers etc. and rated your qualification with the weapon or vehicle. I liked that. Of course, they didnt require qualifying before actually using it in the vehicle. But, it gave an option for noobs to learn to use these vehicles with step by step instructions.
