    Team Change

What is with this, I was in a server doing really good, near the top and my team were winning by alot, then suddenly after I die. ''You have been moved to the other team by the server'', then it all goes to hell.

    Re: Team Change

It's called 'autobalance' and it stops one team outnumbering the other.

I know that, but the teams were 15 people on my team and 14 on the other.

I made a post on this a week ago...it should switch the players with low scores...not the top ranking players...

Yeah I always find I die at the wrong moment and get switched.

              Re: Team Change

We all know what its called, I think it stinks (maybe one day EA/Dice will realize this is what causes the red name tag bug). I think, and I always have, that when you start a map on one team you should be there untill the map ends or untill you leave. Its like I get blamed for the other teams players leaving, by being moved to that team. So I just finished blowing up the USMC arty and get moved to that team. Now I have to go and repair it? Or worse, just finished capping the flag at the main Mec armor spawn on Karkand, Rear most base 64 player. I got killed and moved to other team, now I have to try and get it back? (Ive had both of these happen)
The one that did it for me was playing with the usual guys (warlord and crew) and getting moved to other team. What was EA thinking? Dont answer that it gets better. Say Im just checking out a different server and playing USMC. I get killed and moved to other team, so now I know where the USMC commander is hideing and can go kill him because he is busy on the commander screen and wont see me.
On the other side of it, I wouldnt mind playing say half of a round, in any game, short handed just to be rid of this extra feature. I know it can be turned off but then you will be playing short handed almost all the time, Ive seen it happen, Some servers will use auto balance to stack teams by keeping 4 or 5 slots on the other team loaded wilth players that arent there (AOD server comes to mind, they do it a lot). Also I have moved to the other team when I was asked to, of course at the begining of the round or when I thought it wasnt a challenge to keep beating the heck out of the other team.
I just think that auto balance should only balance the teams at the begining of the round and thats all. I also think that it needs an option that would rank all players using thier score from the last round and put the odd players (1,3,5,7....) on one team and the even players (2,4,6,8.....) on the other. It would make for a more evenly matched game and help increase everyones skills, not to mention promote team play. Also would insure that you wouldnt get stuck on a loosing team all the time. But what the heck do I know Im usually playing out in deep left field anyway. . . . . . .Red

                Squad leader change teams?
I thought squad leaders were protected fom this! It is so annoying when you have recruited players and have COHESION then get moved

                  Re: Team Change

Both me and my roomate play, and our comps sit right next to each other. This makes for some kick-@$$ team work since we can just casually talk back and forth and even look at each other's screens. But it sure does throw a monkey wrench into the works when one of us gets randomly switched and has to wait for somebody to leave to get back on the same team.
