    Way to go EA

Wow EA. You've managed to completely ruin the game. Remember the 1.03 patch? What was wrong with the 1.03 patch? What did they need to change? Sure they needed to remove the red/blue tag glitch, and they needed to make the aa somewhat improved, but they didn't need to improve the sniper rifles, keep you from blowing up mines, and make it near impossible to stay in the air. Yeah, there was bunny hopping, dolphin-diving, n00b t00bers. But those could be easily combated. Yes, people threw c4 like they were playing frolf, but once again, it could be combated. EA did not fix the worst part of BF2, the tag glitch. WTF were they thinking? Yeah, the bunny hopping was kind of annoying, but now BF2 is the only FPS that you can't jump and shoot. I think EA only made changes because of whiny little crybabies. Just because a few people whine and cry about a couple of issues with the game, doesn't constitute a good enough reason to completely change gameplay. I'm seriously considering heading back to bf1942. BF1942 is fully patched and frankly, its ****in awesome. So what if the graphics aren't "up to par", but what good does a good looking skin do if the gameplay sucks? Like I said before, there were only two things EA needed to change, the aa and the tag glitch. Well EA screwed up on both. Way to go EA, way to go. Whiny retards have gone and completely changed the gameplay. You know when you are supposed to take in criticism and make adjustments accordingly? During beta testing, not 6 months after its been released and people are used to playing one way. You can say, "not much has changed on ground combat". Who the hell plays bf2 to ground pound only? That's what is so great about Battlefield! There are so many things you can do and now EA has gone and completely turned the air power into complete and utter ****. How many other FPS games can you fly around in jets, hop in a chopper, get in a tank, or get in a buggy on a whim? Way to go EA... way to go.

Yeah, I know I'm being whiny. Hell, I'm a whiny little bitch right now. But I'm sure about 75%+ people agree with me. I think I'm gonna migrate to Quake Wars when it comes out.

Absolutely, and IMO thats not a whine, thats a valid complaint backed up by facts.

I think I played with you, thread starter. After you hopped aimlessly and killed repeatly by my PKM, you hopped into a M1A2, and immediately got owned by my T90 (after my complaints about that night being an infantry weapon only test night).

sounds like a whine to me, I think EA did a great job with the 1.2 patch, and made game play much more balanced.

ya...the game is much more oriented towards the foot soldier now. Though some of the changes are nice...the AA is laughable. I was playing last night and was getting kills left and right with the AA. With the new AA bug, which I wont disclose because it will only ground aircraft even more, I was able to shoot down choppers after I had fired and left the turrent 30 seconds later. Its...they turned bf2 into an infantry game. The over powered (and rightly should be) aircraft, which i had made a constant point of is supposed to be powerful since why would they make it so each side only has 1 or 2 aircraft?? If they were supposed to be crappy, don't you think there would be as many choppers/jets as there are FAV's and such?

I rarely fly, I like to stick to the ground, but when I did fly it was fun. Now...well not even worth getting into an air vehicle.

I think the OP is half right. He is a whiny little b*tch, but I highly doubt anywhere near "75%" of the playerbase is unhappy with the patch.

I warned people many times, but they didn't want to listen.
