OMG, the SVD has become a headshot machine!!

Before 1.2 I didn't use the SVD, needed 3 shots to kill and to inacurate for headshots, now the SVD is as acurate the M24 was before the patch but no bolt action and offcourse ou can stay nicely looking true the scope between each shot .

SVD has become UBER , this acuracy is perfect for headshots

Awsome, put it up with their with the PKM in terms of weapons that need toned back done. I've seen just a few too many support sniping with the PKM since 1.2...as in, at least three or four every round. And I do mean sniping.

you could do that before the patch, if you knew how to use the gun.

Yah, but it's much worse post 1.2. I think they lowered deviation on all weapons across the board (at least thats what my imperical tests show), and certain guns are TOO good now...the PKM is one of them. It's one thing to get taken out with an M95, or an M24, when sprinting between cover. Hell, even a SCAR-L or something meant for medium to long range fire is fine...but when a PKM takes me out, and the guy is 100+ M away...yuck. And we aren't talking spray fire here, we are talking deliberate, single and burst shots, meant to snipe.

Maybe some sniping was possible with the PKM before the patch but after the patch it is insanely accurate!

I really think they have tuned up the PKM too much!

all the sniper rifles are incredible now and on top of all that no more friendly TKs from claymores

Yeah they have improved it's capability, but I spent many a happy time taking people out long range with my PKM before patch, now it's just made my job allot easier (and a bit harder as sniper are more effective now).

That's fine, I don't have a problem with a select skilled few being able to use a gun to do things it wasn't meant to do. This is a pretty normal thing throughout history, both gaming and real....but now any yocal with a mouse can pick up a PKM and snipe people...that, in my mind, is a bit of a problem.

I understand LMG's and support needed a bone, but yeesh...I might just have to unlock the PKM now, the K/D ratio seems to have gone through the roof for folks using it :P

The new sniper rifle is fantstic, love the sights and sound of it. Racking up the kills now. Not tried the SVd since patch update will give it a go. I enjoy sniping occassionally gives me a break from running around like a maniac all the time.

You have a .85 K ration with light machine guns. . . why are you acting as if you totally own with the gun?

I REALLY don't get what everyone is talking about with this gun. I loved it before the patch, didn't play with it much last night. . . however, there were a TON of people running around with LMGs. . . and any fair fight I would own them with a rifle or carbine. I didn't see anything THAT drastic.

I just feel like you are feeding into the "OH NOES!!! THE PKM IS UNSTOPPABLE NOW!!!" frenzy that has developed since this patch has come out.

LOL ya PKM is extrem it pwns but its too easy to kill people with from long/med/short distances i was sniping people next to another sniper the i just gave ammo packs too and i was geting more kills then him and also supply points sence he kept missing/sucked at sniping
