    From the Readme.

    Battlefield 2 only supports the following video cards:

    Radeon X700 (PCIe)
    Radeon X600 (PCIe)
    GeForce 6600 (PCIe)
    GeForce PCX 5900 (PCIe)
    GeForce 5800 Series (AGP)
    ATI Radeon X800 XT Platinum Edition
    ATI Radeon X800 PRO
    ATI Radeon 9800 Series
    ATI Radeon 9600 Series
    ATI Radeon 9550 (RV350LX)
    ATI Radeon 9500 / 9700 Series
    ATI Radeon 8500 Series
    ATI Radeon X300 Series
    NVidia GeForce 6800 Ultra
    NVidia GeForce 6800 GT
    NVidia GeForce 6800
    NVidia GeForce FX 5950 Series
    NVidia GeForce FX 5900 Series
    NVidia GeForce FX 5700 Series

    And anything newer I suppose.

      SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS

      * Windows XP (32-bit) with Admin rights
      * 1.7 GHz Intel Celeron D / Pentium 4 or AMD Athlon XP/ Sempron or greater
      * 512 MB of RAM or more
      * 8x or faster CD/DVD drive
      * 2.3 GB free hard drive space or more
      * Video: DirectX 9.0c compatible (see video)
      * Sound: DirectX 9.0c compatible (Sound Blaster X-Fi series recommended )

      VIDEO
      Video card must have 128 MB or more memory and one of the following chipsets:

      * NVIDIA GeForce FX 5700 or greater
      * ATI Radeon 8500 or greater

              Exactly. People have reported success with GF 5200 and 5500 video (PCI and AGP) as well as slower CPUs. And I'm running fine on Windows 2000 Pro OS as well. One important point is that GeForce 4xxx and older cards will not work at all even if they are otherwise faster than some cards that do work. Also, the PCI versions of Radeon 9200 and 9250 apparently do not work even though the AGP versions do.

                It actually doesen't even require a 128mb video card...it runs perfectly (90fps on low settings/ 1280*1024) on my 64mb 9500.
