Refresh Rate

Ok I have a little problem on my hands. Today i got a new TFT with a maximum refresh rate of 75Hz, but I have BF2 set to run at 85Hz so now it wont open.

How can I change the Hz setting, and dont tell me to open the game as it wont!

Go into: My Documents, BF2, profiles, video, and manually adjust the refresh, or just import your default from the other setting.

I did that and changed the setting to..

VideoSettings.setResolution 1280x1024@75Hz

and it still wouldnt load.

Do you have any forceware causing an issue, and is you monitor set to 75hz right now?

I was playing the game this morning with my old monitor. Not sure what forceware is, but the monitor is set to 75Hz yes.

Go here and change setting in the video.con file it is the default that BF2 uses at startup.

C:\Documents and Settings\Your Name\My Documents\Battlefield 2\Profiles\Default

If that doesn't work, Plug your old monitor back in and launch BF2 then change the settings that way. But Sickie's way should work.
