hi guys

my graphics card is an ATI Radeon X300.
now im not an expert on graphic cards (nor a veteran :) and i want to know how good mine is and if it is worth buying a better one for BF2 gaming? will a better one considerably improve my BF2 gameplay?

Are you asking if by getting a news gfx card you'll get better "gameplay" ?

I think it'll probably look better but doubt it's change or help the way you already play, especially if you managed 1st Lieutenant with the x300 :)

A very good way to see relative performance between video cards is to check out benchmarks for real games, a good reputable hardware site is whats needed.

From this list of VGA benchmark articles, pick the article named "VGA Charts VI: PCI Express Update Summer 2005"

From here you can either read through the whole article or use the Table of Contents at the bottom to skip straight to a benchmark of your chosing. Make sure to check out benchmarks for more than 1 game and for more than 1 level of detail, to give you an good rounded idea of what your card is capable of compared to what else there is to offer.

Obviously you can check the newer articles of benchmarks for newer and faster hardware.

well not exactly gameplay but game graphics! like im sure with a better graphics card i may be able to see things further away, see things clearer etc etc... true?
