Disconnecting consatnly please help

hello,
the last few weeks I have been getting disconnected constantly.. every 2nd round or so.. and thats on a good server.. 85% of servers I cant even last 1 min.. I switched isps hoping that would fix it.. so its definitely not my isp. I updated punkbuster as well. when I get dissconnted I check my modem to see if its offline or not and 99% of the time its online so I am thinking it must be a hardware issue.

My computer is a amd 64 dual core 3800.. 3 gigs of ddr ram. Geforce 6800 256 and my motherboard is an asus. I turned off my anti virus program and my firewall. nothing seems to work. anyone else have this problem? if someone could help me that would be greatly appreciated.

I had the same problem, Once you start the game, just after you log in. hit Alt\tab then ctrl alt delete and bring up the task manager. go to processes find BF2.exe right click it then set the affintiy to just cpu 0. thats it close it and play.

I have a AMD 4400 X2. this works for me everytime, plus it seems to help the lag.
