Super Jump

Hey Guys-

This may be a noob question but I have seen on a couple differetn posts where they refer to the super jump. I was hoping that someone could give me a heads up on how this is done, and also if it is still possible since the patch. Thanks

I believe they are refering to the exploiting the bug where you jump right as you are running out of sprinting power/energy. It will give you one nice last boost.

They may also be talking about the strike at karkand super jup which gets u onto a building with no ladders or stairs etc.

That jump I cant make it as often as I'd like to my ping is usually 50... Anybody want to get on a empty server and help me with it

As far as I can tell, you can no longer do this with 1.2.

You have to hit jump, then crouch, then jump really quickly.

As far as I can tell, you can no longer do this with 1.2.

Nup you can, I done it before playing a 64 player karkand. Had 21 - 0 until that damn artillery got me <3

What IS a super jump? How do you do it? By hitting Space, Ctrl, and Space again? That doesn't do anything.. It doesn't make me jump higher.. Someone tell me lol.

There is no 'superjump'. Everyone jumps exactly the same height. The jump at karkand that allows you to get onto a certain building from a handrail just takes advantage of the peak of your jump.

Yeah I've gotten onto it like 5 or 6 times but it's sheer luck, do you have any tips for making it 90% of the time or do you just jump and pray? :)

I can get onto it about 65% of the times I try. I spent a good 5-6 hours with a friend doing nothing but getting on it over and over and over.

It's all about the timing. When you go over the poles, your character reacts in certain ways based on your position. You need to learn how to avoid bad ones, and use good ones to your advantage.

It's REALLY hard to explain, and you can only figure it out by practice. The only advice I can give you is to jump RIGHT before the last pole.
