UAV Destroyable?

In the new patch if you look in the sky you can see the UAV (which is awsome but gives away the enemys commanders UAV).

Any who is it destroyable? I've shot at it a bunch but with no luck of actually taking it down.

Any one?

No the flying UAV is not destroyable but you can destroy the cabin 1 in the enemy home base

In the pre patch interview thing he said the flying 1 was not destroyable

Thats the first thing I did when I saw it was go shoot it down.


Way easy.

Don't know about ground fire though. I shot 4 missles at it nothing happened. It must be a "special" kind of airplane with no heat. I think it runs on batteries.

I shot at it with several bullet weapons and hit it once with Anti-Armor Eryx with no luck.

Its EA, they did it because it looks pretty.

Ok, its confirmed its destroyable, its showed in the last half of the 1.2 patch promo video....but does anyone know if you get teamwork points for taking it down?

Yeah, it is destroyable. I shot it twice with my M95 and it disappeared (destroyed).

Ok, its confirmed its destroyable, its showed in the last half of the 1.2 patch promo video....but does anyone know if you get teamwork points for taking it down?

Is destroyable, it takes more than shooting it twice, i only been able to do it with the Scar-L and the MP7, and it does not dissapear it blows up, there's some animation, if it dissapear that means it ran out of fuel and is gone. Also it does not run on batteries, buta very small two stroke engine with a propeller, and the heat signature is not too big to be able to lock on it.
P.S. you also have to lead the bullets to hit it.

I have heard that you can take it down with the AA but i havent confirmed that.
