Lol people are whining about getting kicked for what commander is doing. or certain rules like no base rape.

But kick and ban for saying WTF without any warning. Now thats over the top.

I just said GODf (god w/a typo f)in the bf2, and it automatically kicked me...
That's becuase this game is rated "Teen" so no swearing allowed...

figurative speech... im just pointing out that we are basically shooting and killing people. which is by far worse then swearing.

what it should be. is like Americas army. Have an option which u can have on or off. and it just bleeps out swear words basically. but nothing happens. so its ur choice.

Funny thing is that wtf isn't even a swearword. It could be translated as "wiener tickling flamingos" for all anyone else knows. If you actually yelled " WHAT THE F*CK!" in the middle of a game then I could understand the kick, but notice the rating: TEEN! Is there a single teenager in this world who hasn't said or heard the word f*ck at least once? Most of us hear it and say it like a hundred times! Battlefield isn't meant for those little momma boy protected children who live in glass bubbles and cant see violence or naughty words, so what the hell is this crap? Go find a server with an admin who isnt in grade four, and you'll have loads more fun, trust me on this one.

Sounds like ya got nailed by the word filter.
I've run afoul of it before. Mind you, I wasn't shocked. My launguage by that point had gotten perty nasty (FYI, it wasn't directed at a player... squad chat with a buddy involving problems with VoiP).

Why do you use VOIP. Why don't you use teamspeak or scype. The quality is so much better than the ingame VOIP. Oh and the kick is for 0 minutes so get over it and get back in the game.

This is the reason the make microfones...it reduces the number of people that knows something u said...and no SShots also...ah ah...Buy one....it involves statistic...it's less probable that some 15 y old admin actually is hearing what u'r cursing.....I actually use kinds of respect according with the Rank of the player, just like in the military - "STFUP Ygoddamn FGGT Corporal!!!! Lay low....50 pushup's....NOOOOW!!!!!!" - But I didn't meant to TK, I just... - Baaamm!!! Hey yo Tony clean up this mess M8, it's blood all over the place...

EDIT: I was just thinking, U said WTF for what reason?? and directed to witch person??a girl??an admin???Maybe this could clarify the issue....

It's something you say without realizing it as well.. kind of makes it hard to avoid saying. "WTF" has a lot less meaning than what it actually stands for. You don't think to yourself "laugh out loud" every time you see "lol." When I see "WTF" i don't think of what it stands for, I can just tell what emotion they are sending just by the context lol.
