Thankyou EA/DICE I love the patch love the game!

I for one am proud to have your 1.2 installed, no longer in fear of a bomb coming from nowhere, no longer in fear of only having 1 spawn point and 2 blackwh0rks mowing down everyone the instant they spawn.
The grunts can stand a chance. The game now is not just about, flying and racking up insane kill ratio's.
Infantry actually may do something apart from wait on a fricken airstrip tk'ing each other for planes. Let them fly because if they do they will die.
I sat in AA for about an hour, I even earned a ribbon for it.
The jets, 1 cannon round and you are dead in an aa emplacement, I found them diving from height and strafing the aa killing me straight off, then concentrating on other targets.

There are other things but I will not bother.
I just want to give EA/DICE a big HUG from meeeee awwwwwww. :) :) :) :) :)

I normally hate the fact that everyone complains about patches no matter what game no matter what the patch does.

But this patch is by far the WORST..repeat WORST patch I have ever seen....ever...in any game....and I have played alot of games....

This patch is a perfect example of companies trying to patch in things to fit many casual gamers' lack of skill...from the zero skill insta kill AA to the noobtubing fix (needed, but not in this way) to the super accurate support guns that were fine in 1.12.

I would take 1.12 any day over this crap...

Well, most players ARE going to be 'unskilled' casual players. Would'nt it make sense to cater a game to the majority of the players, rather than making a handfull of 'hardcore' people happy?

yeah thanks EA, I too like the patch, It turns the game into what its suppossed to be a TACTICAL MILITARY SHOOTER, its not suppossed to be easy, people who complain about how hard it is, or that they cant sit there and effortlessly mow down troops and rack up insane amounts of points, can just get over it, ot go play some thing else and stop littering these forums with crap, Im a pilot and I donw care about the AA, It makes things more difficult, more fun, less repetitive

The patch is a refreshing change for ground-pounders, screw the pilots, too selfish to help the team, just worry about coming in first with 100:1 k/d ratio

I have to agree, this patch rocks. Planes and helos using hit and run tactics, AA that hits things, sniper riffles that are actually more acurate than a carbine, no c4 frizbees and machine guns that rips peaple apart.

hhhmmmm, sounds like what this game should have been from the begining to me.

Lol, I've been running 1.03 and there are between 30 - 50 ranked servers (with respectable ping, unlike many 1.2s).

*If* 1.12 is so bad and has destroyed the game for the "unspoken majority" then they will all play 1.12 ranked.

i like the patch although there is only one big thing i notice the AA, its wonderfull on ghost town i wasnt killed by one heli in 2 hours, every aa emcampment was taken, no more helicopter air superioricy, that said cdhanging the name of bf2 was a dumb move, i had to reainstall everything because it was going to helip me out, the only bad thing is the prone, its not bad but it takes some getting used to. the uav is cool i guess but not that great
